We Feed the Fosters. You Give the Love.

APN has partnered with GRANT (Greyhound Rehoming Association NT) to make fresh feeding accessible for every dog in their foster program — at no cost to carers.

We believe every dog deserves real food from day one.

That's why we've launched our Feed a Foster program in partnership with GRANT — and we're proud to be the first nutrition partner to back a greyhound rehoming organisation in the NT with fresh food and supplement support.

HOW IT WORKS

Every dog in the GRANT foster program receives bulk BARF Blocks and bones, supplied directly through APN. We work with GRANT to know what dogs are in foster and make sure we drop food reglarly to you— so carers always have fresh food on hand, no hassle.

When a new dog enters foster care, they also receive a Gut Reboot Pack (Saccharomyces Boulardii + Digestive Care) to kick-start their health from day one. Rehoming is a big transition — we want every greyhound arriving in a foster home to hit the ground with their gut health supported.

Who's this for?

Foster carers in Darwin, Palmerston and the greater Darwin rural area.

If you've been thinking about fostering a greyhound but the cost of feeding a larger breed has put you off — this removes that barrier entirely.

APN covers the food. GRANT covers the support. You provide the home.

WHAT FOSTER DOGS RECEIVE

barf blocks & bones

Each foster dog receives APN's bulk BARF Blocks and raw meaty bones — complete, biologically appropriate meals built on the 80:10:10 principle and formulated to fuel a larger breed dog at every life stage.

Gut Reboot Pack

Every new dog entering the foster program receives a Gut Reboot Pack, including APN's Saccharomyces Boulardii and Digestive Care supplements, to support gut health and resilience through the transition into their new environment.

Personalised Feeding Amounts

Dr. Roz works with GRANT to learn more about the dogs in foster care, including their age and weight, before calculating each dog's recommended feeding amounts and food supply.

Dedicated Freezer Stock

APN provides and maintains a chest freezer purely dedicated for GRANT foster dogs, stocked with fresh food and restocked as needed — so foster carers can rest assured we can deliver to them without lifting a finger.

What this program means to dr. roz

"This program means a lot to me for many reasons. But it provides us a way to give back to a truly amazing rehoming organisation who put everything into the animal's health and wellbeing.

They walk the walk in the welfare space.

We also get the opportunity to support building foster carers by removing the barrier of the cost of feeding. Greyhounds aren't small dogs so feeding them out of pocket is a lot to ask.

We hope to also show foster carers the power of quality food and supplement and what it can do to help these dogs thrive in their new live of freedom."

Meet Our Founder

15 years ago, Dr. Roz, PhD started APN with a simple, yet ambitious goal: to disrupt the pet nutrition industry, which all too often ignored the real health needs of dogs and cats.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, certified dog trainer, animal naturopath, and homeopath, her mission is to help modern pet parents build a solid foundation of physical health, mental enrichment, and emotional fulfilment for their fur babies—so they can live life to the fullest.
